What is a Reseller Programs? What
is a Reseller?
It is basically when you are able to set up several accounts and in the
process get big discounts for setting up those accounts. SilverStar WebDesigns
Inc. offers discounts of 40% to resellers. We pride ourselves as being
one of the most affordable, reliable and reseller friendly web hosts.
As a SilverStar
WebDesigns Inc. Bulk Reseller, you can sell SilverStar WebDesigns Inc.
server space under you own brand name. The package cost to you is a flat
rate based on your requirements. You set up your own hosting packages
and charge your customers whatever you want. This allows you to have the
look and feel of your own hosting company.
How does it work?
When a reseller account is set up, the clients gets access to a WebHost
Manager interface. From your WebHost Manager, you can begin adding new
resold domains at our reseller rates. Your main or master account will
always be billed at our regular rates.
How do I Sign up for the Program?

How long does it take to get my account online?
Your account will be online within 24 hours from the time you complete
the sign up process. If you elect to use a private label nameserver, you
will need to create the nameservers at your registrar. Your account confirmation
will contain information on creating your nameservers.
Are there any set-up fees?
There is a one time fee of ten dollars ($10.00) to set up your reseller
account.
Do my resold accounts get their own separate resources?
Yes. For our Discount Reseller program, all your resold domains come with
their own separate disk space, email and control panel. You do not share
the resources on your master account with other resold domains. Bulk Reseller
accounts use part of the disk space and bandwidth from the master account.
Who provides Technical Support to my clients?
As a reseller for SilverStar WebDesigns Inc. you will be responsible for
providing general support to your customers. SilverStar WebDesigns Inc.
will do all system administration necessary, as well as be your second
line technical support engineers if you have a problem and can't answer
it. Clients of resellers are not considered SilverStar WebDesigns Inc.
clients and will never be contacted for any reasons. Our technical support
staff will be glad to respond indirectly to technical support request
from your clients. In other words, you receive an email response from
a client, cut, past and send that question to us; we in turn respond to
it and you relay the response to your client.
Can I keep SilverStar WebDesigns Inc. Anonymous from my clients
and the world?
Yes, SilverStar WebDesigns Inc. offers customized name servers at no extra
charge. Virtual name servers will ensure that your clients never find
out about us.
Will SilverStar WebDesigns Inc. ever contact my clients?
No. We will never contact your clients for any reason whatsoever.
Does SilverStar WebDesigns Inc. provide automated sign-up for
my clients so that I do not have to manually set-up new accounts?
No. You will need to setup your clients manually via the Web Host Manager
interface. There are some automated scripts available for Web Host Manager,
however SilverStar WebDesigns Inc. does not endorse the use of these scripts.
If you elect to use such a script, you, as a reseller will be responsible
for any misuse of the script.
Does SilverStar WebDesigns Inc. offer online payment history
for resellers?
At this time we do not offer online review of billing history. Our billing
department will be happy to email you any invoices or statements that
you may require.
Do my resold domains also have a 30 Day Money Back guarantee?
No. All resold domains are not guaranteed. If you wish to cancel a domain,
refunds or credits will be offered on a case by case basis. You shall
need to contact our support department in such a situation.
Will
SilverStar WebDesigns Inc. handle the billing to my customers?
No. Resellers are responsible for providing billing services
to their clients. SilverStar WebDesigns Inc. bills the reseller direct
for all resold accounts on the 1st of the month.
What
support is included with my account?
- The servers are fully managed. We maintain the hardware and keep the
Operating Systems, Kernels and Services updated with the most current
stable releases and security patches.
- 7x24x365 Online Technical Support through our online Help Desk.
- Phone Support available with Managed Reseller Hosting.
- Off Server Secure Tape Backup with 14 days of backups maintained.
Our technicians will take care of the following requests:
- Password resets and requests
- Server related problems and issues
- Additional Perl and PHP modules will be added upon request if there
is no risk to server performance.
- Reseller support and assistance
- General information requests
- Backup restoration if the data was corrupted or deleted by server problems.
- Database corruption assistance and recovery if caused by server or hardware
problems.
- Support for basic control panel issues (Email, FTP, Stats, SpamAssassin,
WebMail)
We also offer many fee-based services:
- Installation of scripts and other software.
- Support for extras that are included with the control panel software
(Add-on scripts, included CGI scripts, “Pro” features, Databases,
Site Management and Domains)
- Backup restoration when needed due to customer error or unauthorized
access to site.
- Database corruption assistance and recovery when caused by user error
or unauthorized access to site.
